Had a great visit at my physical therapists office this afternoon. She's a lot better than my previous one, casuse she's also an athlete. She trains as hard as i do, so she know's my expectations from every session. She understands how and why i train the way i do. Long story short, i can whatever i want, training wise, so long as im not in any pain. So here's my biggest challenge. I know i can do box jumps, i can run, do any upper body movements, but im worried that i might over do it and not progress in my training. I know any kind of movements involving squats is out of the question- so no wall ball, back, front, overhead squats, no body weight squats, no cleans, thrusters, any kind of jerks- and these are my favorite lifts of all time! So on to todays wod;
Warm up:
4 rounds of
50 Double Unders
10 KB swings (32k)
15 Strict Toes to Bar
Workout:
10-8-6
DB Row (75#)
GHD Situps
Felt a little weak with the rows, but i'm still getting back to the groove of thing, and learning what i can really do and not do. The warmup felt great and the swings didnt hurt my knee at all :)
I tried a light clean & jerk (95#), and felt my knee on the very first jerk. That was the end of that, so a little light stretch and i was done for the day. Great training day.
